One to One DBT Skills Development
( Individual Therapy is currently not offered)
Individual DBT Skills Development sessions via Online Zoom, Microsoft Teams or face to face if within locality.
This will be one to one skills development of DBT 4 Skills modules namely
Mindfulness– This skill set allows you to concentrate on the present moment rather than worrying about the past or the future. DBT skills sessions frequently begin with a brief mindfulness exercise.
Emotion Regulation- This set of skills can help you understand, be more aware of, and control your emotions.
Distress Tolerance- This entails learning to deal with crises without resorting to harmful actions such as self-harm.
Interpersonal Effective Skills- This entails learning to ask for things and say no to others whilst remaining respectful of yourself and others.
